In our latest app note, we share how Global Medical Solutions Inc. (GMSI), a global medical device company, used a desktop scanning electron microscope (SEM) to improve quality control processes in their manufacturing facility.

By using a Thermo Scientific Phenom ProX Desktop SEM, GMSI was able to accurately and efficiently analyze the microstructures of their products and identify any potential defects. This allowed them to improve their product quality and reduce their reliance on traditional quality control methods, such as destructive testing.
